Payroll Services
Payroll Services is responsible for paying nearly 6,300 employees — including full-time, part-time, temporary, and substitute employees. Payroll processes all service credits for the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) and the State Teachers Retirement System (STRS). We invite you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Please Note – Student records are NOT public records. Please contact the Student Hearing and Placement Office at (916) 643-9425 for copies of student records.
Requests for public records of the District are processed by the Legal Services Department. The Legal Services Department has developed this webpage to provide community members a more effective and cost-efficient way to submit requests for records and access to frequently requested records.

Our district is working diligently to provide opportunities for our students to expand their linguistic repertoire to meet the ever-changing needs of the global economy. As a result, language immersion programs have become a pathway for our students to become literate in both English and their home language.

Verification of Employment and Salary
Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District has contracted with The Work Number, which is an automated service that provides instant employment and income verification. Through the use of a touch-tone telephone or the Internet, this fast, secure service verifies employment verbally and/or in writing when applying for a mortgage or loan, for reference checking, leasing an apartment, or any other instance where proof of employment or income is needed. You benefit from having control of the process – authorizing others access to your information.
