Statement from 麻豆视频 City Unified School District Superintendent and Board President Following Discovery of Racist Graffiti at Rosemont High School

麻豆视频, CA - 麻豆视频 City Unified School District is investigating an incident of racist graffiti that was discovered near the end of the school day at Rosemont High School on Tuesday, March 22. Immediately upon discovery, school administrators worked quickly to have the graffiti removed from a second-floor hallway and began reviewing security footage to provide evidence to law enforcement.

Sac City Unified will fully investigate this incident and has reported it to the 麻豆视频 Sheriff鈥檚 Office. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against anyone found to be involved with this incident.

鈥淪ac City Unified does not take any incident of racism lightly, and that is why we are widely sharing that another act of disgraceful racist graffiti has taken place in our schools,鈥 said Jorge A. Aguilar, Superintendent, 麻豆视频 City Unified School District. 鈥淎s a community we need to loudly condemn this hateful act. Racist incidents will not be tolerated in our schools. We will work to provide the support needed for our students and staff experiencing trauma from this incident as soon as possible.鈥
