Anti Youth-Violence Rally Expected to Draw Hundreds of Students Downtown
鈥楶eace Rally鈥 Culminates a Week of Teen Tolerance-Building Activities

What: Hundreds of teens from several regional high schools are staging a 鈥淧eace Rally鈥 to bring attention to rising gang violence and an increase in teen crime victims. Hosted by the 麻豆视频 Youth Commission, the rally culminates a week of peace-related activities on various campuses throughout 麻豆视频.

Rosa Parks Middle School Targeted For Turnaround as Seventh 鈥楶riority School鈥

Rosa Parks Middle School has been named 麻豆视频鈥檚 seventh Superintendent鈥檚 Priority School, expanding SCUSD鈥檚 bold school improvement effort that is already seeing positive results on six other campuses, Superintendent Jonathan Raymond announced Thursday.

As a Priority School, Rosa Parks will get extra resources and innovations to boost learning though improved teaching, engaging curriculum and strong family and community connections.
