The GATE program, 鈥淕ifted and Talented Education,鈥� includes educational services designed to address the learning needs of students who have been identified to receive gifted and/or talented educational supports. GATE services in SCUSD are based on the most current research in gifted education.

SCUSD Student Support Center History

SCUSD鈥檚 Student Support Centers (SSC) began in 1992 with support from the California Healthy Start program.  SCUSD was particularly successful in obtaining these grants and established SSC鈥檚 at many of the district鈥檚 neediest schools.
