SCUSD Board approves November ballot measure to boost graduation rates and student achievement
June 29, 2016 (麻豆视频): 麻豆视频 City Unified School District鈥檚 Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday night to place a $75 parcel tax measure on the November 8 ballot.
The proposed measure would fund the expansion of successful programs, including art and music enrichment, services for struggling learners and vital initiatives that make schools more positive environments for staff, families and children. The measure would sunset after six years. Senior citizens would be exempted.

麻豆视频, CA (October 5, 2016) 鈥 RedRover, a national nonprofit organization headquartered in 麻豆视频, California, will join IKEA at Golden Empire Elementary School on Tuesday, October 11 at 10:30 a.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the 麻豆视频 City Unified School District school鈥檚 newly transformed classroom space. This classroom, as well as the staff lounge, was remodeled as part of IKEA鈥檚 Life Improvement Challenge.

November 4, 2016 (麻豆视频): 麻豆视频 City Unified School District鈥檚 Board of Education voted Thursday to approve a school facilities agreement with developers of The Railyards Project north of downtown.

SCUSD is collaborating with Amazon Education to transform negative student attitudes about math using a 鈥済rowth mindset鈥 approach.
Specifically, the 鈥淲ith Math I Can鈥 initiative hopes to challenge ideas about who can 鈥 and who can鈥檛 鈥 perform math at the highest levels. Research shows that anyone can succeed at high-level math with patience, practice and a willingness to see mistakes as part of the learning process.
First Week of School
Home Visits
If you are enrolled in an Early Head Start/Head Start program, the teacher and possibly the teacher aide will schedule a visit with you in your home. This visit will help your child see the connection between home and school. Home visits are scheduled twice a year for children in the center-based program and once a week for children enrolled in the home-based program.
