Physical Education & Fitness Testing Requirements
SCUSD supports the alignment of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and instructional resources to the state-adopted model content standards. We Believe physical education is just as important as reading, writing and arithmetic. Also, the importance of every student achieving grade-level and course-level standards in preparation for the next level is emphasized.
Early Learning and Care Programs
SCUSD’s Early Learning and Care programs provide continuous comprehensive center-based and home-based services to expectant families, infants/toddlers, preschool and school-age children. Children have a natural curiosity and desire to learn so they are engaged in active learning with teachers providing learning experiences based on best practices reflecting how children develop and learn. We believe that a close home/school connection is essential for children to reach their full potential.
English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC)
