Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified Prevails in Fight to Protect Cost Savings for Students
SACRAMENTO - Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District prevailed today in an arbitration with Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Teachers Association (SCTA) over a 2017 contract dispute between the parties regarding the application of health care savings.
The arbitrator’s decision agrees with the district and found that district did not violate the contract.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District Announces Next School Year to Begin with Full Distance Learning
SACRAMENTO – Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District announced today that students will begin the school year on September 3 with a full distance learning program. This decision was made in close consultation with public health officials and the Â鶹ÊÓƵ County Office of Education, to protect the health and safety of students and staff as new COVID-19 cases have drastically surged and testing results are delayed.
Kennedy High School Teacher Honored by the Special Olympics of Northern California
SACRAMENTO, CA – Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified Teacher Chloe Stidger was honored by the Special Olympics Northern California (SONC) for her efforts to go above and beyond for students and encouraging an environment of inclusion and acceptance. Stidger is a Special Day & Autism Teacher at John F. Kennedy High School (JFK) and was honored alongside five other teachers in Northern California.
