Routines for Reasoning
ALL SCUSD teachers are invited to engage and collaborate with colleagues in grade-band segments for a five-part learning series focused on understanding and implementing routines that promote mathematical reasoning and foster the Standards for Mathematical Practice.

Math Common Core Units of Study
SCUSD Units of Study follow a backwards mapping design, which focuses on the content standards, student learning outcomes, and assessments.
There are 4 basic components of a Unit of Study:
1) Focus of Learning
2) Student Performance (What students will know and be able to
do)
3) Assessments (Formative and Culminating)
4) Learning Experiences
