This year, families that live within our school district boundaries will create an account on to apply for Open Enrollment.
Once your parent/guardian account is created on SchoolMint, add your student(s) to the account.
School Site Council
California Education Code 52852 requires that a school site council shall be established at each school that participates in Title I or LCFF supplemental/concentration grant funding. The school site council shall be composed of the principal and representatives of: teachers selected by teachers at the school; other school personnel selected by other school personnel at the school; parents of pupils attending the school selected by the parents; and, in secondary schools, pupils selected by pupils attending the school.

Parent Participation Preschool Program
Nurturing, caring teachers will help you and your child grow to your full potential in this unique preschool setting. Our education is focused on child development, positive discipline and developmentally appropriate practices.
Parents work in the classroom in collaboration and guidance of the teacher to help children develop a variety of skills. Parents also learn parenting techniques to use in the classroom and at home.
Free TB screening clinics every Thursday from 3-5pm at Serna Center

Sac City Unified will now be offering free tuberculosis (TB) assessments for staff, new hires and volunteers every Thursday from 3-5pm (unless offices are closed due to a holiday or holiday break).
Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is required. The free screening clinics are held at Serna Center at 5735 47th Ave. Contact Student Support and Health Services at (916) 643-9412 with any questions.

Our Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for special education meets every third Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm at Serna Center. There is also an option to Zoom in, but for in-person attendees, child care and refreshments are provided.
Please help spread the word about these meetings in your communications to families and staff.
Infant/Toddler Enrollment
8 Weeks to Age 3
SCUSD Infant/Toddler program offers an enriching environment and high-quality services to families and their infants and toddlers. The program provides comprehensive services and learning experiences that support infant and toddler physical (nutrition and mental health wellness) educational, social-emotional development. Services include early identification of needs, culturally relevant curriculum and assessments, strengthening parent engagement and knowledge in the area of child development and critical milestones.
