Â鶹ÊÓƵ, CA â€“ Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District Superintendent Jorge A. Aguilar issued the following statement in response to strike authorization votes by the Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Teachers Association (SCTA) and the Service Employees International Union Local 1021 (SEIU):

Â鶹ÊÓƵ, CA â€“ Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District is sharing the following letter from  Superintendent Jorge A. Aguilar which was sent to all SCUSD staff this evening in response to questions and concerns about a possible strike in our district:

Dear colleagues,

Â鶹ÊÓƵ, CA - Two individuals responsible for vandalizing Lincoln Elementary School with disturbing racist graffiti have been identified. The individuals are minor students in the Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District. As such, appropriate disciplinary action is being taken by the district.
