April 4, 2016 (Â鶹ÊÓƵ): Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District is hosting a community meeting on Tuesday (April 5) to discuss the future of Old Marshall School, which has been vacant since 2009.

Marshall School was built in 1903 and designed by Rudolph Harold, a locally prominent architect who designed City Hall. Located at 2718 G St., it was used as an elementary school until 1976, when it was closed due to concerns about its ability to withstand an earthquake.

April 26, 2016 (Â鶹ÊÓƵ): Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District Board Member Jay Hansen and City Councilman Steve Hansen are co-hosting a community meeting on Thursday (April 28) to discuss the future of Jefferson School at 16^th and N streets in Midtown.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Washington Elementary School, 520 18^th St.

April 13, 2016 (Â鶹ÊÓƵ): Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District will host The Art of Caring: A Social Emotional Learning Summit and Student Showcase beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday (April 14) at the newly remodeled Clara Midtown arts center.
