Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified Provides Update on Incident Involving Graffiti Found at C.K. McClatchy

Â鶹ÊÓƵ, CA - Last Friday, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District initiated an investigation following the discovery of disturbing graffiti at C.K. McClatchy High School.

As a result of that site level investigation and in consultation with Sac PD, the person responsible for the graffiti has been identified. The individual in question is a minor student, and appropriate disciplinary action is being taken by the district.

Statement from Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District Superintendent and Board President Following Discovery of Racist Graffiti at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School

Â鶹ÊÓƵ, CA - Following a Monday school holiday in observance of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, racist graffiti was discovered this morning on an exterior wall at Abraham Lincoln Elementary school. The graffiti was painted over as soon as it was discovered and support services are being provided for students and staff who were traumatized by this racist incident.

Sac City Unified to Distribute N95 Masks to School Teachers, Staff and Volunteers
SCUSD Receives Shipment of 149,540 N95 Respirator Masks from State of California

Â鶹ÊÓƵ, CA - Â鶹ÊÓƵ CIty Unified School District (SCUSD) has informed it’s schools that they will be receiving a shipment of N95 masks from the State of California via the Â鶹ÊÓƵ County Office of Education on Friday, January 14. Each school site will receive enough N95 masks to issue 20 of them to each staff member, along with contracted providers, volunteers, substitute staff, and also a backup supply for on-site needs.

Sac City Unified is Acting on Governor’s Executive Order to Streamline Substitute Teacher Emergency Credentials

Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District (SCUSD) is actively recruiting newly eligible substitute teachers thanks to a new state Executive Order to streamline the process for substitute teacher emergency credentials. This Executive Order will increase opportunities for more members of the public to serve in our classrooms. SCUSD schools have 39,759 children spanning grades kindergarten to 12th grade across 70 campuses citywide.
