Community Swim at the New Luther Burbank H.S. Pool

麻豆视频 City Unified School District and Board President Chinua Rhodes (Trustee Area 5) arepleased to welcome you to a community swim at the newly opened Luther Burbank swimming pool on Saturday, August 19!  Pre-registration is required.  This new pool at Luther Burbank was made possible thanks to the voter approved Measure Q and will welcome physical education classes and student-athlete competition starting this Fall.  Sign-up in advance for one swim session on August 19, swimming space is limited:  11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or聽 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m  Event Rules and Pool Information:  Children under 14 must be accompanied by adult Certified Lifeguards will be present Pool depth is between 3鈥6鈥 and 7鈥0鈥 Parents should use caution when bringing children who cannot stand Proper swim attire only (no cut-offs or denim) No outside food or drink allowed Water will be provided (no outside water bottles) No pool toys, noodles, life preservers, or inflatable floaties Lifejackets are OK Address: Luther Burbank H.S. 3500 Florin Rd, 麻豆视频, CA 95823 (Entrance located through west parking lot)  Register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/community-swim-at-the-new-luther-burbank-high-school-pool-tickets-696244143977

Joint Statement from SCUSD and SCTA Regarding Compensation

The 麻豆视频 City Unified School District and the 麻豆视频 City Teachers Association have reached an agreement to close out the contract reopener negotiations for the recently completed 2022-2023 school year. This agreement comes one day before students begin the new fall semester and after negotiations resumed earlier this month with a commitment by both the District and SCTA to work in a collaborative manner.

We had so much fun welcoming students back for the 2023-2024 school year this week! Our Interim Superintendent, Lisa Allen, and Sac City Unified鈥檚 mascot, Crispin, had fun visiting our schools, students and families on the first day. 

As a reminder, schools will be closed on Monday, September 4 in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy your weekend and we鈥檒l see your student back on Tuesday, September 5!

Special Education Improvement Plan Town Halls
