Community Swim at the New Luther Burbank H.S. Pool

Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District and Board President Chinua Rhodes (Trustee Area 5) are pleased to welcome you to a community swim at the newly opened Luther Burbank swimming pool on Saturday, August 19!
Pre-registration is required.
This new pool at Luther Burbank was made possible thanks to the voter approved Measure Q and will welcome physical education classes and student-athlete competition starting this Fall.

Joint Statement from SCUSD and SCTA Regarding Compensation
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Unified School District and the Â鶹ÊÓƵ City Teachers Association have reached an agreement to close out the contract reopener negotiations for the recently completed 2022-2023 school year. This agreement comes one day before students begin the new fall semester and after negotiations resumed earlier this month with a commitment by both the District and SCTA to work in a collaborative manner.

Hello Sac City Unified families,
We had so much fun welcoming students back for the 2023-2024 school year this week! Our Interim Superintendent, Lisa Allen, and Sac City Unified’s mascot, Crispin, had fun visiting our schools, students and families on the first day.
As a reminder, schools will be closed on Monday, September 4 in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy your weekend and we’ll see your student back on Tuesday, September 5!
SCUSD Board of Education Recap – September 7, 2023
